Doubtlessly a game with an original setting, Swamp Attack sends you to the main character's house in the swamp. Here you have to defend your house from endless mobs of irate and sometimes even bizarre animals. Much of the game compares to the "Tower defense" genre where you build towers to shoot down enemy creatures. When Swamp Attack first starts, hungry crocodiles come searching for a human dinner.
The game actually does a phenomenal job with enemy variation like you will face beavers, piranhas, raccoons and gigantic mosquitoes. Lady Luck, however, seems to favor your well-being, and you will defend your swamp house with a huge host of weapons. You start with a shotgun, but soon you earn enough gold to buy flamethrowers, molotov cocktails, assault rifles and landmines. When the swamp creatures threaten to overwhelm you, you can even call in an aerial strike.
Swamp Attack progresses through over 70 missions divided into four distinct chapters. To reach the final level, however, you need to play smart and dominate every enemy down to the smallest mosquito. The game does a fantastic job blending elements of "Tower Defense," with cute graphics. In some ways, Swamp Attack might bring up old memories of games like Plants vs. Zombies. The critters bomb you wave after wave. The game costs nothing to play, but you can pass through the levels more rapidly when you purchase items. In some ways, they make the game so hard where players will want to buy more items. The multiplayer mode offers more than 300 levels, and you can defend your swamp home with 30 different defense tools.
